New Flodesk Feature: Custom Brand Fonts!

FUN FACT: Before I quit corporate America and started working full-time for myself, I was an in-house designer for fashion, lifestyle. and wellness companies. During my years as an in-house designer, one of my main tasks was to design all the email newsletters that were sent out. I’ve designed hundreds (quite literally hundreds!) of email newsletters from scratch. So believe me when I say that Flodesk is the perfect tool for business owners who want beautiful emails WITHOUT spending hours trying to design them on their own. You can now upload your own custom brand fonts to Flodesk and use them when designing email newsletters, forms, and checkout pages. CUSTOM BRAND FONTS? YES PLEASE!

As a brand designer, I could NOT be more excited about this update! Flodesk has always been superior to other platforms when it comes to design and aesthetics, but this update makes it easier than ever to maintain a cohesive brand identity…which is what I’m all about!

Flodesk has been my go-to email newsletter platform for years. I recommend it to all my clients for an easy, user-friendly way to create email newsletters, and ultimately engage with their audience. Plus, they’re constantly rolling out new updates and features (like this brand font capability!)

I use Flodesk to send email newsletters and to add new subscribers to my email list with custom forms all over my website (like the one right below this 😉).



Even if you don’t have your own website…

…Flodesk has tons of features you can use! Of course, you can use the newsletter aspect of Flodesk, but the “Full Page Forms” and “Checkout Pages” features are especially helpful if you don’t have your own website.

  • Full Page Forms can act as a landing page, promoting a freebie, upcoming sale, etc. — anything that will entice the viewer to subscribe to your email list.

  • Checkout Pages allow you to sell and accept payments online for digital downloads, courses, and services. Perfect for digital entrepreneurs, business owners, content creators…anyone who has something to offer, but maybe doesn’t need a full-on website in order to offer it.

Once you create these, you can post their link anywhere you want! In your Instagram bio, in a story, in your Linktree, etc. And, the best part is, you can customize these pages and make them look on-brand AF with Flodesk’s new brand fonts feature!


ALRIGHT, SO HERE’S HOW YOU CAN ADD CUSTOM FONTS TO YOUR FLODESK ACCOUNT!

  1. Log into your Flodesk account, hover over your profile icon in the upper right hand, and click on “Branding”

  2. Scroll down the page, past “Logo” and “Brand Colors” until you see “Brand Fonts”

  3. Click on “+ New Font”, which will take you to the “Manage Brand Fonts” panel

  4. Then, all you have to do is select the font files that you’ve downloaded to your computer. Make sure you have the rights to use these fonts (basically that you bought them/downloaded them legally)

  5. Once you’re done uploading all your fonts, they’ll appear in your font panel when you design your emails, forms, and pages. You can even search for them by name in the font search bar!
